Bonanno Hit Man Turned Informant Sentenced To 10 Years For Threatening Family
Joseph Milano, formerly known as Joey Calco until he entered the witness protection program after helping in 2001 to put away several members and associates of the Bonanno crime family including reputed consigliere Anthony Spero, has been sentenced to ten years in prison following his conviction in Bunnell, FL of being a felon in possession of a firearm arising from a domestic disturbance investigation at his home on Feb. 15 as reported by Frank Fernandez for the Daytona Beach News-Journal. In January 2009 Milano, the owner of the now-defunct Goomba's Pizzeria in Palm Coast, FL, allegedly jumped over the counter to assault a pair of customers who complained about a calzone, and he still faces charges in that case.
