Natale Terzo, 53, lied to a federal grand jury about seeking mob protection for his now-shuttered Napa and Sonoma eatery in Whitestone.
Two men were stabbed in 2004 by Bonanno thugs seeking retribution for breaking the restaurant's windows. One of the attackers, Vito Pipitone, was collared last year in Honolulu with his new bride, Paula. He was just sentenced to three and a half years.
Terzo apologized profusely in court.
"There's nothing romantic or exciting about organized crime," Judge Nicholas Garaufis told him.
