Battista (Benny) Geritano is back in jail again, this time for smoking pot during probation.

A mob associate who stabbed a famous Brooklyn pizza maker and is suspected of a bank vault burglary - all while on federal supervised release - is going back to prison for smoking pot.
Battista (Benny) Geritano won't have to start serving his one-year sentence until October so he can undergo surgery on his hand, which was injured during the fight with Lucali pizza maestro Mark Iacono.
Geritano, 38, admitted he had smoked marijuana since he finished serving time last fall for a bank heist, but insisted he stabbed Iacono in self-defense and denied involvement in the burglary of a Bensonhurst bank in January. "I just want to get myself together and stay out of jail," Geritano told Federal Judge Sterling Johnson.
The Brooklyn DA's office dismissed charges in the April stabbing because the combatants refused to rat on each other.
"Mr. Geritano does not have a respect for the law, I'm convinced of that," Johnson said.
